The Story of Strategic Gaming Management
Strategic Gaming Management, LLC, (SGM) was originally founded in 2009 in Reno, Nevada, by J. Grant Lincoln who continues to serve as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. The firm’s first acquisition was Baldini’s Casino in Sparks and the Company has since successfully acquired three additional properties with a total transaction value in excess of $350 million dollars.

In 2024, SGM entered its first sale-leaseback transaction with Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc. (NASDAQ: GLPI), a partnership which provided new capital for growth and capital improvements—affirming the company’s reputation as a strong operator and trusted partner in the industry.
